PML-N for generous donations

SIALKOT, Oct 28: The PML-N on Friday took out a rally in the city to express solidarity with the earthquake victims of Kashmir and the NWFP.

PML-N’s local MNA Khwaja Muhammad Asif and former MPAs — Muhammad Idrees Bajwa and Manshaullah Butt — led the rally, which took off from the congested Allama Iqbal Chowk and ended at party’s main office on Paris Road.

The participants had held banners and placards urging the people to donate generously for the quake victims.

Meanwhile, the district government has dispatched 275 trucks of relief goods to the affected areas.

Sialkot DCO Shafqat Ranjha told journalists that the local people and business community had been donating at all the relief camps.

Meanwhile, the army has dispatched another 100 trucks. — Correspondent
