BADIN, Oct 28: The district nazim of Badin, Ali Anwar Halepoto, has said that ill-planning and financial irregularities would not be tolerated as these were impending progress in the district.

Presiding over a meeting of officials of the finance department here on Friday, he stressed the need for a team work among elected representatives to effectively resolve problems of their area. He said it was necessary to make the devolution plan a success which had replaced the 150 years old colonial system.

Earlier the executive district office (finance), Syed Moinuddin, gave a detailed briefing about the finance department.

He said an amount of Rs18.581 million would be spent on different heads of the district departments except salaries.
