SUKKUR: Austerity on Diwali urged

SUKKUR, Oct 28: Spiritual leader of the Hindu community, Saeen Satram Das, has appealed to the people of his community to observe the upcoming Diwali festival with austerity in the wake of the earthquake disaster.

He called upon the community members to generously donate in the President’s Relief Fund to help the quake-affected people of the country.

The Hindu community of Sukkur, Khairpur, Ghotki and Shikarpur has already expressed its profound grief over the colossal loss of life in the earthquake.—APP
