KARACHI: Young man shot dead

KARACHI, Oct. 28: A young man was shot dead by his business partner over a petty dispute in Lee Market on Friday. Police said Rozi Khan, 35, and Gul Mohammad, 30, used to sell Chinese goods in Lee Market area.

On Friday, they exchanged hot words over some petty dispute after which Gul Mohammad opened fire on Rozi Khan. The injured was taken to Civil Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

BODY FOUND: The body of an unidentified man was recovered from the Northern Bypass on Friday.

Police said that the victim bore torture marks.

SUICIDE: A young woman reportedly committed suicide in New Karachi on Friday.

Police said that Zainab, 25, mother of four, was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her home in Khameso Goth, New Karachi.

Victim’s husband Abdul Ghani stated that his wife committed suicide, but victim’s father claimed that she was killed by her husband. Police shifted the body to Abbasi Hospital for post mortem.
