KARACHI: Govt slammed for failing to deliver


KARACHI, Oct 28: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Sindh on Friday criticised the government of what it called its failure to deliver relief goods to earthquake victims even after 20 days of the catastrophe.

In a statement, former Sindh Governor and acting president Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Sindh Mamnoon Hussein claimed that the government had failed to deliver relief to the victims despite the fact that a huge quantity of relief items had been collected both nationally and internationally.

Lauding the solidarity expressed by the nation in the hour of trial, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader demanded the government that local and foreign aid should be spent through a committee comprising MNAs and not the bureaucracy.—PPI
