Under-19 trials

LAHORE, Oct 25: Forty-three probables recommended by the national junior selection committee will appear in two-day trials being held at the Qadhafi Stadium from Oct 31 to select Pakistan Under-19 team for the first Afro-Asian cricket tournament to be held in Vishakhapatnam, India from Nov 19 to 27.

Following players are selected for trials:

Abid Ali, Nasir Jamshed, Mehroz Khan, Ahmed Butt, Adnan Raza, Saadullah Ghouri, Jamshad Ahmad, Raheel Younis, Raza Rehman, Usman Malik, Saad Nasim (Lahore); Arsalan Anwar, Ali Khan, Usman Mushtaq (Sialkot); Yasir Arafat, Gulraiz Khan, Nasir Ahmad, Fahad Zaman, Muhammad Shahzad (Peshawar); Faheem, Ali Asad, Hammad Khan, Shan Masood, Waqas Haroon, Anwar Ali, Zeeshan Ali, Ausaf Rabbani, Misbah Khan, Sarfraz Ahmad (Karachi); Riaz Khalil (Abbotabad); Sharjeel Khan, Nauman Ali (Hyderabad); Muhammad Aslam, Zahoor Ahmad (Quetta); Najam Abbas (Multan), Haseeb Amjad, Imran Wasim, Akhtar Ayub (Rawalpindi); Muhammad Aamer, Ali Raza, Muhammad Laiq, M Talha (Faisalabad); Naeem Anjum (Islamabad).
