Hammad hits century

LAHORE, Oct 25: A fine unbeaten century by Hammad Khan steered Karachi Urban to a 75-run win over Faisalabad in the National Under-19 Inter-region one-day cricket championship on Tuesday.

Hammad scored 112-ball 100 with the aid of seven fours and one six while opener Fazal Subhan (54) and Owais Ahmed (56) added half-centuries as Karachi Urban piled up 268 for six in the allotted 45 overs.

In reply, the home team was skittled out for 193 as Misbah Khan finished with 4-26 and Ramiz Raja with 4-30.
