Five perish in accidents

SHEIKHUPURA, Oct 23: Five people were killed while another suffered injuries in separate incidents in the city on Sunday. Near Kala Shah Kaku, one Ayub and his daughter Sidra were killed when a truck hit their two-wheeler.

Motorcyclist Ali Bahadar was killed while his friend Khalid hurt in an accident near Macheke.

In the third incident, Sadiq was crushed to death by a passenger coaster near Mandi Faizabad in Nankana Sahib district on Lahore-Jaranwala Road.

In another incident, Sarfraz died after falling from a tractor-trolley near Fatha Thata. In Dargahi Gill, Mujahid Khan died when his gun went off accidentally.—Correspondent
