KARACHI, Oct 23: The University of Karachi on Sunday directed all the O/A levels students seeking admissions to the honours/BS programmes to obtain equivalence certificates from the Intermediate Board Chairman Committee (IBCC) before applying otherwise their applications would not be processed.
It notified that as per the resolution of the academic council, the varsity would not issue any equivalence certificate to those who have passed O/A level or equivalent examinations.
The varsity, however, would continue to entertain all the equivalence certificates issued by the KU earlier or those issued in the future in response to the cases already under process.—PPI
