Mansoor steals limelight

KARACHI, Oct 22: Tapal CC (TCC) whipped Karachi Gymkhana by 72 runs in the 20th Karachi Gymkhana Callmate Ramazan cricket tournament at KG Ground on Saturday.

All-rounder Mansoor Khan starred in his team’s triumph making a superb 39 with two boundaries and a six and later grabbed three wickets for 23 runs.

Tariq Haroon hammered 51 with five fours and two sixes while useful contributions from Farhan Iqbal (31), Ahmed Zeeshan Malik (27) helped TCC to post a healthy total of 212 for five wickets in 25 overs.

KG in reply were bowled out for 140 in 23.2 overs with Mansoor Khan and Shahid Iqbal sharing six wickets.
