KARACHI, Oct 22: Abbottabad overcame a poor start to reach 297 for six against Quetta on the opening day of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Silver League match at the Bugti Stadium in Quetta on Saturday.

Opting to bat first after skipper Sajid Shah won the toss, the visitors lost their openers with just five runs on the board. But Ali Naqvi (54), Ashraf Ali (65) and Bilal Marwat (72 not out) then retrieved the situation.
