Arrest of villagers condemned
KHAIRPUR, Oct 22: Former District Nazim Nafisa Shah has said that the Kotdiji police arrested 25 villagers in a raid on Malheer Paato village on Friday morning and took away goats, tractors and motorbikes.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, she said that police also misbehaved with women.
She termed it a political victimization as the notable of these villages had supported PPP candidates during the local body polls.
She said that after the local body polls, excesses by the police against the PPP candidates have become routine of the day.
She alleged that the TPO Kotdiji was removed for his involved in illegal activities during the local body polls but he had been posted again.
