KARACHI: KMDC entry tests on 30th

KARACHI, Oct 22: The entry test for admissions to MBBS and BDS programmes at the Karachi Medical and Dental College will be held on Oct 30 at an educational premise in Korangi.

Principal of the college, Prof Saadiya Aziz Karim, said that about 2,050 applications had been received against 50 MBBS and 25 BDS seats offered for admission for the new session. The written aptitude test of applicants will be conducted by the College of Business Management at its Korangi premises.

The entry test carries weightage of 50 per cent marks for the preparation of merit list. HSC and SSC marks carry a weightage of 40 per cent and 10 per cent respectively, added the principal, saying that an interview call would be given to the topmost meritorious students for final selection against the allocated seats.

The entry test will comprise multiple choice questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. The test answer sheets will be in triplicate, one copy will be given to the candidates together with the key at the end of the test for self evaluation and transparency, include a college communication.
