KARACHI: Security on Yaum-i-Ali

KARACHI, Oct 22: The Inspector-General of Police, Sindh, Asad Jehangir, on Saturday directed the CCPO, DIG Operations and Regional Police Officers Sukkur and Hyderabad to take fool-proof measures for the security of life and property of people on the occasion of Yaum-i-Ali processions taken out on Oct 26 and at Imambargahs and mosques.

The IGP directed that officials and personnel deployed at shopping centres and bazaars for public security should be given formal briefing about security aspects.—APP
