Anis, Rizwan shine


KARACHI, Oct 21: A five-wicket haul by Anis Sheikh and a superb unbeaten 64 by M Rizwan helped DHA (B) cruise into the final of Kaniz Fatima Memorial cricket tournament outclassing AOCC by six wickets on Friday at Defence Ground, according to a press release.

DHA achieved the target losing four wickets in 18.2 overs. Rizwan struck seven boundaries in his 64. Mubasshir Ahmed chipped in with 30.

Earlier, AOCC were shot out for 123 in 18 overs with Nadeem Sheikh (33) and Irahim Qureshi (23) making useful contributions. Anis conceded 35 runs while claiming five wickets.
