Another three absolved of Mandi carnage


GUJRANWALA, Oct 21: The Anti-Terrorism Court No 1 on Friday absolved another three accused of murder of eight Ahmadis in Mandi Bahauddin. While the physical remand of two other accused was extended till Oct 24.

Reports said police produced Tahir Iqbal, Tariq Mahmood and Asghar Ali in court and informed the judge that they had been found innocent during an investigation and requested him to discharge them from the case.

The court absolved them of the crime and ordered their release.

Meanwhile, the physical remand of Sajid Jamil and Muhammad Ansar was extended till Oct 24. — Correspondent
