In order to overcome the problem of leaking sewage on under-construction Garden Road, it was decided that Town Nazim Izhar Ahmed, in consultation with the city government and concerned sewerage engineer, would try to find out an immediate solution to plug the leakage so that held up work on the road could be restarted.
Mr Kamal also inspected the under-construction Sohrab Goth Flyover.
Later, the nazim directed the DCO to collect details of all such projects which had stranded because of utility lines and hold a meeting with concerned senior officers to find out a solution to the problems.
DRAINS: The city government has decided to remove all illegal encroachments, which block storm water drains or exist on such drains at the earliest, so that damages could be avoided in future in the wake of rains.
