Woman hit by tractor, dies

PESHAWAR, Oct 20: A woman and her two children were seriously injured when a tractor hit them on the outskirts of the city on Thursday. Nahida, wife of Aqil Khan, a resident of village Bahadar, and her two children Huma and Kamran were crossing the Ring Road when the tractor hit them, injuring all of them seriously.

They were rushed to a nearby hospital where Nahida died of her injuries.

The driver managed to escape from the scene.

A nine-year-old boy Khalid was killed by a bus in Ramdas Bazaar in the city.

The Bhana Mari Police station impounded the bus and lodged an FIR against its driver, who managed to escape from the scene.—APP
