KARACHI, Oct 19: City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal on Wednesday instructed the City Government officials to make maximum use of information technology in their respective departments to extend maximum services to people in minimum possible time.

Presiding over a meeting here, he directed the IT department of the City Government to prepare a comprehensive programme with consent of all the departments in a month and submit the same to him.

He said use of IT would improve the services of CDGK tiers and reduce corruption through increased transparency. It would facilitate people and help the CDGK in entertaining their complaints on immediate basis, he added.

The meeting also decided that Hospital Management System would be introduced in the CDGK’s healthcare centres to provide better medical facilities to Karachiites.—PPI
