WELLINGTON, Oct 17: Former Pakistan junior champion Kashif Shuja will make his debut for New Zealand at the Men’s World Team Squash Championships in Pakistan later this year.

Shuja has been named at number one in a four-strong Kiwi line-up for the championships, having qualified to play for his adopted country in February this year.

Callum O’Brien is at number two, making his second appearance at a world championships after representing New Zealand in Austria two years ago.

Campbell Grayson will make his debut for senior side, but will be in familiar territory having played Junior Men’s World Championships in Pakistan last year.

Martin Knight will also be on debut, after being named at number four.

New Zealand finished 17th at last world champs, and coach Dave Clarke has set his young team the challenge to improve on that by making the top 16.
