KARACHI: Marines leave for Batagram

KARACHI, Oct 17: A 123-member contingent of Pak Marines and Commandos of Special Services Group along with relief goods and equipment left for Batagram to join hands with the PN team busy in relief and rehabilitation operations.

The relief team was seen off by Commander Coast, Rear Admiral Iftikhar Ahmad, says an ISPR statement. The contingent, armed with special equipment, comprises personnel especially trained to conduct rescue operation in highly unfavourable circumstances.—APP
