ICC clears Shabbir

LAHORE, Oct 14: Medium-pacer Shabbir Ahmad has been cleared by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and he will be available for selection against England in the forthcoming Tests and One-dayers.

The decision was taken after PCB chairman Shaharyar M Khan met ICC chief executive Malcolm Speed in Sydney and discussed the issue of Shabbir.

Shabbir, who was called for the second time in the West Indies this year appeared before a biomechanics expert in England whose report disclosed the bowler has 27 degree bent against 15 degrees allowed by the ICC.
