KARACHI, Oct 14: Six ships carrying soyabean meal, DAP fertilizer and to load molasses and naphtha are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven ships, Tai He, Y.M. Faha, Golden Express, Kot Tabah and Sea Beta to unload and load containers, Gant Star to offload steel and Teo to unload DAP fertilizer were berthed after the departure of as many.

The ships, which departed included Eastern Sea, Kuo Hung, Y.M. Moon, Golden Express, Safinos Sky, Med Lerici and Johar, while Gant Star, Alam Selaras, Tah He, African Orxy, You Mei, Tong Hai, Kota Tabah, Chem Bothnia and Sea Beta are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 0.106m tons comprising 16,319 tons of export cargo and 89,218 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Great Morning, Rifki Bey, with 27,675 and 19,442 tons of DAP fertilizer, Lalazar, with 68,000 tons of crude oil, Golden Ocenia, to load 3,000 tons of naphtha, Shamrock Moon, to load molasses, and Ocean Grace, to unload 5,000 tons of soyabean meal.
