PESHAWAR, Oct 13: The PHC on Thursday put on notice the Election Commission and the newly-elected district nazim of Upper Dir when it took up in a writ petition filed by the provincial general secretary of the PPP-P Mr Najmuddin Khan.

He had requested the court to set aside the election result announced by the returning officer of Upper Dir as four of the voters, who are nazims and naib nazims, possessed certificates issued by seminaries and were as such not entitled to vote.
