DADU, Oct 13: Dadu DCO Aijaz Ahmed Mangi said that the shortage of fertilizer would be eradicated completely in the district. He was speaking in a meeting with farmers, fertilizer dealers, irrigation officials and bank managers at his office here on Thursday.

Mr Mangi has directed the officials of Southern Irrigation Division to end artificial shortage of water in the Johi branch and the Dadu canal.

Speaking on the occasion, the fertilizer dealer, Dur Mohammad Jamali, said that there were no stocks of fertilizer in their warehouses and said that 30,000 tons of fertilizer would be provided to dealers in October, November and December.
