Mr Mangi has directed the officials of Southern Irrigation Division to end artificial shortage of water in the Johi branch and the Dadu canal.

Speaking on the occasion, the fertilizer dealer, Dur Mohammad Jamali, said that there were no stocks of fertilizer in their warehouses and said that 30,000 tons of fertilizer would be provided to dealers in October, November and December.

Officials of the Zarai Taraqiati Bank told the meeting that they could not advance more loans to farmers as Rs320 million were outstanding against them.
