Larkana BISE Inter Arts result announced

LARKANA, Oct 13: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Larkana, on Thursday announced the result of the Higher Secondary Certificate Part-II Humanities group examination.

According to the controller of examinations 4,271 candidates appeared in the examination, while 3,551 were declared pass. The number of female candidates was 3,313 and that of male was 966. Results of 65 students were withheld for using unfair means.

The combined pass percentage was 83.14 per cent where the boys’ pass percentage was 81.79 and that of girls’ was 87.77 per cent.

The controller of examinations said that no one succeeded in clinching the A-1 grade. Only one candidate secured the A-grade while 502 students were placed in B grade, 2,035 placed in C grade, 973 placed in D grade and 40 students were placed in E grade.

For female students, Erum Ali Shah, daughter of Syed Muzaffar Ali Shah, of the Ratodero Government Girls Higher Secondary School, got 802 marks and secured the first position.

Uzam Ahmed, daughter of Muneer Ahmed Kingrechi, of the Shikarpur Government Girls College, obtained 752 marks and declared second.

Mehmooda, daughter of Abdul Haleem Lashari, of the Larkana Government Girls College, obtained 751 marks and obtained the third position.

For male students, Tufail Ahmed, son of Maqbool Ahmed Soomro, of the Shahdadkot Government Degree College, declared first by securing 762 marks.

Lal Chand, son of Daya Ram, of the Ratodero Government College, named second by obtaining 755 marks.

Majid Ali, son of Ghulam Nabi Mahar, of the Chak Government High School, declared third by scoring 746 marks.
