ISLAMABAD, Oct 13: Fauji Foundation and its sister organisations have donated Rs100 million to the President’s Relief Fund set up to minister to needs of the quake victims.

The foundation has offered all possible assistance to the government to treat the seriously injured people at its health care outlets located in the affected areas.

FJA: The officers and staff members of the Federal Judicial Academy (FJA) on Thursday announced to donate their one-day salary to the President’s Relief Fund.

MOL: The Executive Board of MOL Hungary, the largest oil and gas group of Central and European (CCE) region, has donated $5,500 for the relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction activities in the affected areas.

UAA: The faculty members and staff of the University of Arid Agriculture, Rawalpindi, have donated their two-day salary to the President Relief Fund.

MOTORWAY POLICE: The National Highways and Motorway Police on Thursday dispatched a second consignment of seven truckloads of relief goods and medicines to Balakot.

ICCI: The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) in collaboration with the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has installed 50 tents at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences.

SLIC: The State Life Insurance Corporation (SLIC) has donated Rs100 million and one-month salary of all its employees for the quake affected people.

NIC: The National Insurance Corporation (NIC) has donated Rs50 million for the rehabilitation of the quake-hit people.

CBR: The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has donated Rs5 million to the President’s Relief Fund.

EPB: The chairman and vice-chairman of the Export Promotion Bureau have contributed their one-month salary to the President’s Relief Fund. The entire staff has also contributed one-day salary to the fund.

RCIM: A truckload of relief goods donated by the Rotary Club of Islamabad Metropolitan (RCIM) and collected by the Academy for Educational Development (AED) was handed over to the Pakistan Air Force authorities.

AIOU: Allama Iqbal Open University employees on Thursday dispatched a sizable quantity of relief consignment to Mansehra, Balakot and Muzaffarabad. The relief items include medicines, clothes, edible items, tents and blankets.

TELENOR: Telenor has pledged a sum of Rs65 million to the Red Cross and President’s Relief Fund. Tore Johnson, Telenor Pakistan’s CEO said: “We know that the government and Red Cross are working together to mobilise resources for the relief effort and we would like to contribute by all means possible.”
