KARACHI, Oct 13: Four ships carrying containers, edible oil and chemicals were berthed at QICT, MPT and EVT during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday.

Meanwhile, three more ships with edible oil, diesel oil and jute also arrived at the outer anchorage. A cargo volume of 72,441 tons comprising 56,475 tons of import and 15,966 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as Pacific Breeze and Warbah left the port while CMA CGM Nilgai and Golden Oceanio were due to depart. Five ships, Jordan, Pacific Senator, Al-Maqwa, Yanaseni and YK Taurus, were awaiting their berthing turn at the outer anchorage.
