BISE relief goods

GUJRANWALA, Oct 12: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education employees on Wednesday donated two truckloads of relief goods and sent to Batgram and Batal quake-affected areas with the coordination of district administration.

Speaking on the occasion, the BISE chairman appreciated the spirit of the employees and urged them to continue providing more financial help to quake victims.

BAILIFF: A sessions court bailiff on Wednesday recovered a constable from Model Town police lockup who had allegedly been detained there at the behest of investigation DSP.

The court summoned DSP Nawaz Dhillon and SI Munir Akbar on Thursday (today).

Petitioner Mumtaz Husain alleged that Abdul Razzaq had been detained for not fulfilling the DSP’s ‘demands.’
