Softball: Five teams confirm entry

PESHAWAR, Oct 10: Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, Islamabad and Azad Jammu and Kashmir have confirmed their participation in the National softball championship to be held in November in Yar Hussain, district Swabi.

Associate Secretary of Pakistan Softball Federation (PSF) Muhammad Sabir Yaqoob said on Monday the federation decided to hold the event in Yar Hussain.

He said that the PSF secretary general Farid-ud-Din Qureshi would leave for Kuala Lumpur to attend a Softball Confederation of Asia meeting.

The PSF would propose to the SCA summit to organize the next Asian softball championship in Pakistan, Sabir said.—APP
