Karachi pacers earn Lahore tickets

KARACHI, Oct 10: Three talented pacemen Sohail Pathan, Zeeshan Ali and Muhammad Imran secured top three positions in PCB Pace Attack competition held at National Stadium, organisers announced on Monday.

Youthful Sohail hurled the fastest delivery at a speed of 83.6 mile per hour.

Zeeshan secured second spot with a bowling speed 81.3mph while Imran was third with speed of 80.5mph.

Thirty boys took part in the final night’s competition with Sohail, Zeeshan and Imran qualifying for the final round of competition to be held at Qadhafi Stadium on Oct 16-17.

The penultimate round of fast bowlers’ contest started in Rawalpindi while Lahore round will be held on Oct 13-14.—APP
