European stock
LONDON, Oct 10: European stock exchanges closed stronger on Monday, with the London FTSE 100 index gaining 0.23 per cent to reach 5,374.5. In Paris the CAC 40 rose 0.16 per cent to 4,536.22 while in Frankfurt the DAX added 0.30 per cent to close at 5,022.79. —AFP
