HYDERABAD, Oct 9: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement has set up camps in different cities to collect relief goods for earthquake victims of the country. MQM’s zonal in-charge Siraj Rajput and members of the zonal committee expressed their deep grief and shock over human losses as a result of earthquake.

They said donation collection camps were being established at the sector level and so far camps had been established at Market Chowk, Fakir-jo-Pir Chowk, Phuleli Tonga Stand, Kohi-i-Noor Chowk, Sabzi Mandi Chowk, Latifabad-9 Bhitai Chowk Latifabad and Khuda Hafiz Board, Latifabad.

MQM Zonal in-charge Siraj Rajput, District Nazim-elect Kanwar Naveed, District Naib Nazim-nominated Zafar Rajput, City Taluka Nazim-elect Javed Jabbar, Latifabad Taluka Nazim-elect Sabir Qaimkhani and MPA Naim Ishtiaq visited the camps and reviewed the work of receiving relief goods for earth quake victims.

MIRPURKHAS: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement and other institutions including the social welfare department have set up relief camps to collect donation and general commodities, clothes and other things for earthquake affected people in different areas of the country.

MQM’s zonal leaders told Dawn that camps were set up under directives of MQM chief Altaf Hussain while Khidmat-i-Khalq Foundation will continue its services to masses.

NAWABSHAH: Several relief camps were set up in the district for collecting donations for earthquake affected people of the country.

A camp for collection donations including goods was setup by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement on the Market road.

The Indus Rangers set up two camps in the district for collection of donations one camp was setup in the H.M. Khoja Garden and other in Sakrand.

The ARY group also set up a camp for collecting donations.
