KARACHI, Oct 7: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad congratulated the elected nazims and naib-nazims in the third phase of the LB polls. The gvernor expressed the hope that they would utilize their best of the capabilities for providing relief to the people at the grass roots level.
According to a statement issued here on Thursday night, he also congratulated the people and law enforcement agencies for ensuring a peaceful environment during the third phase of the polls.
“The peaceful holding of all the phases of elections has projected a positive image of Sindh including Karachi in the eyes of the world,” the governor added.
Dr Ibad hoped that all the people with a mission to bring improvement in the life of a common man would work together for achieving their shared goals regardless of winning or losing in the elections.—APP
