KARACHI: E. coli found in more water


KARACHI, Oct 6: The city government’s health department has found the harmful, E. coli bacteria, in 126 more water samples in laboratory tests carried out on 208 samples. The bacteria were found in water samples collected from Bengali Para, Kashmiri Mohallah in Landhi Town, Sharifabad in Landhi Town, Banghoria Goth, Usmanabad in North Karachi Sector 5-B/2, Manghopir Road, Police Headquarters, Madina Colony in Gulshan-i-Iqbal and Angara Goth. The water board has appealed to people once again to avoid drinking turbid water and use only boiled water.—APP
