ZTBL forms cell to curb corruption

ISLAMABAD, Oct 5: An anti-corruption cell (ACC) has been established here in the head office of Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) under the direct supervision of the bank president.

The cell had become functional from Thursday and according to a press release, necessary instructions have been issued to the field offices to place terms of references (TOR) of the ACC on notice boards.

The cell will monitor officials and the staff has been told to inform any misconduct, direct or indirect corruption to the cell as their official obligation.

A failure on the part of any employee meeting this obligation shall be deemed guilty of abetment and connivance in the offence. The employee meeting their obligation in this regard have been promised to provided complete protection of anonymity and career progression, says the press release.
