Teachers’ Day walk in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, Oct 5: The International Teachers’ Day was observed throughout the world including Pakistan with utmost zeal and enthusiasm today. In this regard, under the aegis of Pakistan Education Foundation, a walk was held from China Chowk to the Parliament House which was attended by teachers and large number of students.

They were carrying banners which said ‘Respect teachers and give them their due rights’. On the occasion, special advisor to Prime Minister on Women Affairs Nilofar Bakhtiar said teachers are very important for the upbringing of students. —Online
