KARACHI: Two bodies found

KARACHI, Oct 5: Two bodies were found at the Hub pumping station on Wednesday.

Police said that two persons had drowned while taking bath in the Hub Canal on Tuesday. They believed that the bodies ended up at the pumping station. Both the bodies could not be identified. They were shifted to the Civil Hospital for legal formalities.

According to the duty officer of Mangopir police station, a number of people take a dip in the Hub Canal and are often washed away in the gushing water.

Another body was found from the Northern Bypass early on Wednesday morning.

Police said that the victim, in his mid-30s, had strangulation marks around his neck. Police said the body was sent to the Civil Hospital for postmortem examination.
