KARACHI, Oct 2: More than 1,200 families living in the slum areas of Ajmer Nagri and Bilal Colony on Sunday collected ration packs for the month of Ramazan.
The ration packs were distributed by the Chairperson of the Sada Welfare Foundation (SWF), Fouzia Siddiqui, and other office bearers of the organisation.
The recipients included resourceless members of society including the physically disabled, elderly, widows and children.
The SWF was also providing medical treatment to children from poor families at the National Institute of Child Health.—APP
