BAGHDAD, Oct 1: The brother of Iraq’s interior minister was kidnapped in Baghdad on Saturday. Abdul Jabar Sulagh, brother of Interior Minister Bayan Baqer Sulagh, was kidnapped in the Al Habibiyah district by armed men who blocked his car and forced him into theirs, a ministry official said.
He was identified from documents the police found in the car afterwards.
The minister had just ended a meeting in Amman with his Jordanian counterpart.—AFP
