Fourteen coaches pass course

LAHORE, Oct 1: Fourteen coaches of Punjab out of a total of 19 who participated in the Sept 19-Oct 1 national Level-I coaching course held by the Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) passed at the National Sports Coaching and Training Centre.

Among the participants, Amir Shahzad, Muhammad Jahangir were declared first and second. Three coaches were declared joint third.

They are Ejaz Asghar Mughal, Abid Iqbal, Amjad Farooq Waraich. The other nine successful coaches are: Muzaffar Ali Khan, Asghar Ali, Mukhtar Ahmed, Muhammad Akram, Ms Rabia Malik, Ms Zahida Rasool, Kashif Mehmood, Shabi Haider and Gul Rehman.

The successful coaches would be given assignments in their respective areas by the Punjab Sports Board. The federation would hold similar coaches’ courses in other provinces.
