Bomb defused
BANNU, Oct 1: Security personnel seized an explosive device from a carpenter’s shop opposite the cantonment market here on Saturday. Sources said that the carpenter, Omar Khitab, informed the Rescue-15 police that a man had placed a bag at his shop telling him that he would soon return to take it.
On checking the bag, the carpenter found a bomb like device in it and informed the Rescue-15 police.
Police officials took away the bag and was defused near the Kachkot firing range.
