National cycle race

PESHAWAR, Sept 28: Pakistan Cycling Federation (PCF) is holding National Cycle Race on Sunday, it was announced here on Wednesday.

Teams from NWFP, Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, Sui Southern Gas Limited, Wapda, Army and Railways would take part in the one-day event.

The race would start from Peshawar and culminate at Rawalpindi after covering a distance of 165 in a meet that would be contested by 48 cyclists with six top finishers getting cash prizes.

Motorway Police would supervise the race from Peshawar to Rawalpindi to avoid any untoward incident.
