KOHAT, Sept 27: Parents of a large number of female students who were denied admissions to the Government Girls’ College have sought the help of the provincial education minister for saving the future of their children.
They also warned to stage a sit in in front of the college if their demand was not fulfilled.
Talking to journalists here on Tuesday the parents said that the principal of the above-mentioned college had fixed a very high merit for admissions to first- and third-year classes which needed to be reconsidered.
They demanded that the merit should be fixed keeping in view the results of local government schools so that students of Kohat district feel no difficulty in taking admissions at the college level.
