By Our Correspondent

QUETTA, Sept 26: A division bench of the Balochistan High Court on Monday dismissed appeals of two candidates for the posts of district and tehsil nazims holding sanads of Shahadatul Alami against the rejection of their nomination papers by the district returning officers of Qila Abdullah and Pishin.

The bench comprising Justice Akhtar Zaman Malghani and Justice Nadir Khan Durani dismissed the appeals of Maulana Mohammad Hanif, candidate for the post of Qila Abdullah district nazim, and Maulana Nazar Mohammad, vying for the post of Pishin tehsil nazim, in the light of a verdict of the Supreme Court. The candidates were backed by the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam.
