Pay revision for Kohat varsity employees

KOHAT, Sept 26: The syndicate of Kohat University of Science and Technology has approved revision of pay scales of employees from grade 1 to 17 and establishment of an Institute of Medical Sciences.

A meeting of the syndicate, held with Vice-Chancellor Dr Zabta Khan Shinwari in the chair, also proposed a Haj policy for employees of the KUST it unanimously approved.

The members of the syndicate who attended the meeting were Dr Zabta Khan Shinwari, Mr Gulzeb Khan, Additional Secretary, Higher Education Department, NWFP Peshawar; Mr Ahmad Hanif Orakzai, Additional Secretary Budget, Finance Department, NWFP; Mrs Salma Masood Khan, Director LIMS, Peshawar; Prof Dr H. Abdul Ghafoor, University of Peshawar; Prof Dr Fazal ur Rehman Sethi, Chairman of Physics Department, University of Peshawar; Ms Sabiha Naheed, Principal of Govt Girls Degree College, Kohat; Mr Eid Mohammad Khattak, Principal of Govt Degree College, Karak; Prof Dr Asmatullah Khan, Dean IMS program, KUST; Prof Dr Abdus Sattar Khan, Registrar/Dean Bio-Sciences KUST; Hafiz Inamullah, Assistant Professor KUST and Ms Shumaila Batool, Lecturer Maths, KUST.

The syndicate also gave approval to the appointment of various faculty and administrative staff hired by the KUST from time to time.
