ISLAMABAD, Sept 24: Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has thanked President Pervez Musharraf for Islamabad’s full support to Teheran’s legal right at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

According to Radio Tehran, the Iranian president telephoned President Musharraf to express his thanks to his counterpart in Pakistan. President Musharraf told his Iranian counterpart that the government and the people of Pakistan had been opposed to the use of force against Iran over its nuclear programme and believed that the issue should be resolved under the purview of the IAEA.—PPI
