LRC stewards fine owner

Published September 25, 2005

LAHORE, Sept 24: The Lahore Race Club (LRC) stewards taking a lighter view of the in and out running of Stereo Nation fined his owner rupees five thousand only on last Sunday (Sept 18). Stereo Nation, who ran off the frame in his outing on Sept 11 won the race in the following Sunday (Sept 18) very convincingly under jockey Azeem Pervaiz.

The main culprit, jockey Azeem Pervaiz was let off by giving a strong warning for his unsatisfactory riding.

The race-goers have however, taken exception to this leniency shown by the stewards, but their decision is final.
