Saudi govt asks passengers not to bring in food items


PESHAWAR, Sept 24: The government of Saudi Arabia has barred passengers from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran from carrying food items. According to an official hand out issued here Saturday, the government of Pakistan has informed all such passengers not to carry food stuff with them while travelling to Saudi Arabia so as to avoid any inconvenience.

Customs authorities at all Saudi airports would not allow any kind of food stuff to enter into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.—APP
