ISLAMABAD, Sept 24: The growing economy in the country provided excellent opportunities to investors from Qatar in real estate, construction, power generation besides helping Pakistan meet its growing energy requirements. This was stated by Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz while talking to Hamad Ali Al-Hinzab, who was recently accredited as the new Qatari ambassador to Pakistan, on Saturday.

Mr Aziz said Qatar and Pakistan enjoyed close historic, religious, cultural and economic relations. A large number of Pakistanis are working in Qatar, similarly Qatar has made major investments in Pakistan, he added.

The prime minister said there was an understanding and unanimity of views between the two countries on a host of issues, both regional and global.
